8-week series of workshops on Thursday evenings starting 23rd January. Drop in participants welcome. These are open and facilitated sessions that will give you access to the movement, breath and energy work of embodied Qigong practice. Chi is your “vibe”, your internal energy and vitality. When you start to work with this energy using movement and breath it balances the energy in the organs and body, reducing stress, giving clarity of thought and the experience of being fully present in mind and body. Throughout the 8 sessions Alex Boyd will guide you through this process of “feelingly thinking”, making the Qigong form very accessible through a very open and contemporary approach. You can expect to open the joints, enable an improved flow of blood around the body, harness the breath, activate the Chi and express this energy through movement. These sessions foster a self-cultivation and connection with others. nourish your inner vitality and essence and show you how to emanate this feeling through movement. It’s an M.O.T. for your Chi + body! Suitable for all who are interested in feeling less stressed, who want to move in an expressive way and who want to feel full of vitality.
